Project Description:
Renovation and Expansion
The Glass City Center, formerly known as SeaGate Convention Centre, underwent a $70 million renovation and is officially open to the public. Located in the heart of Toledo, the 30-year-old building required a complete renovation and is now a focal point in downtown.
Lakeside Interior Contractors was tasked with parts of the concourse and ballroom additions. The 16,000 square foot Grand Ballroom is brand new and an elegant addition to the Glass City Center. Seating up to 900 people, one of the ballroom’s best features is the attached terrace that overlooks downtown and Fifth Third Field, the MudHens ballpark.
From floors to ceilings, the Glass City Center is completely updated and redesigned and has the capacity to host weddings, events, fundraisers, and state of the art conferences and shows. Lakeside was proud to contribute to such a significant project that will impact Toledo and Lucas County for the better.
