Join us as we say goodbye to a valued team member and welcome a new manager to our leadership team. We want to congratulate Mike McComish on his recent retirement and introduce Alex Pool as a new project manager.
As we move into February, we are announcing a transition within our project management team.
After years of dedicated service, Mike McComish will be retiring from Lakeside Interior Contractors. Since May 1998, Mike has been integral in Lakeside’s success, leading countless projects and spearheading customer relationships as our Superintendent. We extend our deepest gratitude to Mike for his unwavering commitment, his hard work, and the heart and soul he has poured into Lakeside.
As we bid farewell to Mike, we are equally excited to introduce Alex Pool. Alex joined Lakeside in December 2015 as a carpenter, then quickly moved to foreman. We know his skills, insights, and leadership from the field will be beneficial to our team.
To make this change seamless, Alex has been shadowing Mike and training with the other project managers, taking over full responsibility on February 5, 2024. In addition to taking on Mike’s role, Alex will also coordinate current and future project aspects including resources, materials, and personnel.
We want to again recognize Mike and wish him and his family all the best in his future endeavors. His impact and influence will be remembered and appreciated, and he will always be a part of the Lakeside family.
